The KIR-PHCD puts three detection technologies into one head - photoelectric smoke sensing, rate-of-rise and fixed-temperature heat detection, and electrochemical CO monitoring - so you cover smoke, heat, and carbon monoxide from a single SLC address on the loop. Rotary switches on the detector set the address (1-250), no programming tool needed at the head.

Designed for Kidde FX Series intelligent fire alarm control panels, the KIR-PHCD draws just 32 µA in standby and runs on standard SLC loop power (15.20-19.95 VDC). Multi-criteria sensing from a single point reduces false alarms while maintaining broad coverage across smoke, thermal, and CO events. Automatic environmental compensation adjusts sensitivity over time, so drift from dust accumulation or environmental changes won't trigger nuisance alarms or require manual recalibration.

Listed to UL 268, UL 521, and UL 2075, with CO alarm sensitivity evaluated to UL 2034 limits. Mounts on standard electrical boxes with any compatible Kidde intelligent base, including sounder bases for local CO and fire notification.
