Intelligent Optica Duct Detector Replacement Optical Sensor Tube, Rotary Addressed

The KIR-DDOS-ROT is the field-replaceable optical sensor tube assembly for the Kidde KIR-DDOS Intelligent Optica Duct Smoke Detector (Rotary Addressed). When the sensing chamber in an existing KIR-DDOS needs service or replacement, this drop-in tube gets the detector back online without pulling the entire duct housing off the HVAC run.

Built for fast field service

The sensor tube uses Kidde's Optica photoelectric (light-scattering) detection technology - the same sensing principle as the parent detector. It installs from either the duct side or inside the sensor compartment, and the sampling tube rotates in 45-degree increments so you can align it with duct airflow without repositioning the housing. No special tools required beyond what's already on the truck.
