The KIR-DDOSIB is the replacement interface board for the Kidde Optica KIR-DDOS Intelligent Duct Smoke Detector. When the original board fails or needs replacement, this drop-in swap gets the detector back online without replacing the entire housing, sampling tube, or optical sensor assembly.
Built for the fire alarm installer
The interface board carries the rotary address switches (TENS and ONES, 1-127 range), all SLC wiring terminals, the Form C auxiliary alarm relay, and connections for remote test stations and LED indicators. It drops into the existing KIR-DDOS housing with no modifications - same terminal layout, same mounting points, same wiring scheme. Compatible with all Kidde Intelligent Rotary Loop controllers and FX Series intelligent panels.

Requires a Kidde Optica KIR-DDOS duct smoke detector housing and optical sensor tube assembly. Communicates on the SLC loop at 15.2 to 19.95 VDC. Wire with 14 to 22 AWG per NFPA 72.
