The VM-NOC RS-485 Network Option Card links up to eight VM Series panels into a single networked life safety system, carrying both network data and digital audio communications on two independent RS-485 circuits. Class A or Class B wiring is supported on both circuits, so the network topology matches whatever the job's riser design calls for.

Built for the commercial fire installer

On multi-building or multi-panel campus jobs, the VM-NOC is what turns standalone VM panels into a coordinated network — shared event reporting, coordinated audio messaging, and centralized annunciation across up to eight control panels. Twisted-pair wiring runs up to 5,000 ft. between any three panels, which covers most campus and high-rise riser distances without repeaters.
