The Genesis LED EWG outdoor wall strobe delivers code-compliant visual notification in parking garages, loading docks, covered walkways, and other outdoor or semi-protected environments. Low-current LED technology means fewer booster power supplies on the NAC circuit - more strobes per run, fewer boxes on the wall.

Built for the commercial fire installer

Field-selectable 15 or 30 cd output covers standard-candela applications without the guesswork. The quad-lens LED optic provides uniform light distribution across the required field of view while drawing a fraction of the current of legacy xenon strobes. Genesis synchronization protocol ensures all devices on the circuit flash in unison per NFPA 72.

System requirements

Connects to any compatible Kidde fire alarm panel NAC circuit. For panels without built-in Genesis synchronization, use a GSA-CC1S or SIGA-CC2A sync module. Mounts to standard 4-inch square electrical boxes or Kidde outdoor surface-mount boxes (Model 449) for wet locations.

The EWGVWF offers field-selectable 15 or 30 cd output, configured at install via the selector on the device. No need to stock separate models for different candela requirements.
Does this strobe work in outdoor and wet locations?
Yes. The Genesis LED EWG series is UL listed for outdoor and semi-protected locations - parking garages, loading docks, covered walkways. For fully exposed installs, use a Kidde Model 449 outdoor surface box for wiring protection.
Can Genesis LED strobes share a circuit with older xenon Genesis strobes?
Yes. Genesis LED devices are backwards compatible with legacy xenon-based Genesis strobes on the same NAC circuit and synchronize correctly.
Why choose LED over xenon for outdoor strobes?
