The EWGVMWF is a Genesis LED EWG Series outdoor wall-mount strobe built for visible notification on commercial fire alarm systems. Rated for indoor and outdoor use from -40 to 151°F, it covers parking garages, loading docks, process areas, and other wet or harsh environments where reliable strobe notification is required.
Built for the commercial installer
Low-profile design mounts to standard outdoor electrical boxes (Model 449 or 74347U) or standard 4-inch square indoor boxes. Room-side wiring accepts 12 to 18 AWG conductors. The field-selectable multi-candela strobe offers multiple output settings adjusted via a sealed viewport on the front of the unit - no cover removal required after installation. White housing with red FIRE marking meets code requirements for visible-only notification zones. UL 1971 and UL 1638 listed for both indoor hearing-impaired and outdoor notification applications.

System requirements
Operates on 24 VDC or 24 VFWR notification appliance circuits. When multiple strobes share the same field of view, a Genesis-compatible synchronization source is required. Options include the EG1M-RM Genesis Signal Master, auto-sync output modules (GSA-CC1S, SIGA-CC2A, GSA-MCC1S, GSA-MCC2A), booster power supplies (APS6A, APS10A), or VS/VM/FX Series panels with built-in Genesis sync. For outdoor or wet-location mounting, use the Model 449 or 74347U surface-mount box.
