A single action pulls the handle to break the glass rod and latch an alarm at the control panel - no lift-door second step required. An integral microprocessor makes the alarm decision at the station itself rather than waiting on the panel, so twisted or shielded loop wire isn't required even on upgrades from conventional systems. Rotary address wheels on the back set the device's SLC address in seconds, and a diagnostic LED flashes green for normal polling or red during an alarm condition.

Compatible with Kidde FX-64 and FX-1000 intelligent systems. Mounts to a North American 2-1/2 in. deep 1-gang box, or a 4 in. square box (1-1/2 in. deep) with 1-gang cover. Device address 01-64 (64-point SLC) or 01-125 (250-point control panel).
