SKU:
KD-FX-270

The FX-270 brings the familiar die-cast metal teardrop pull station into an intelligent FX-64/FX-1000 system, keeping the rugged, traditional feel building occupants already recognize while adding onboard addressing and diagnostics.

Built for the commercial fire installer

A single action pulls the handle to break the glass rod and latch an alarm at the control panel - no lift-door second step required. An integral microprocessor makes the alarm decision at the station itself rather than waiting on the panel, so twisted or shielded loop wire isn't required even on upgrades from conventional systems. Rotary address wheels on the back set the device's SLC address in seconds, and a diagnostic LED flashes green for normal polling or red during an alarm condition.

Key features

  • Single-action, break-glass operation, alarm latches until reset
  • Sturdy die-cast metal body, traditional teardrop design
  • Rotary address wheels - no software programming tool required
  • Integral microprocessor - decisions made at the station, twisted/shielded wire not required
  • Diagnostic LED: green flashes normal polling, red flashes alarm
  • ADA compliant, rated for ambient temperatures up to 120°F

System requirements

Is this single-action or double-action?
Single-action. For a double-action version with a lift door, see the FX-278.
Does the loop wiring need to be twisted or shielded?
No. The onboard microprocessor makes decisions at the station, so existing conventional wiring can typically be reused when upgrading to an intelligent system.
How is the device addressed?
Two rotary switches on the back set the tens and ones digits of the SLC address - no laptop or software tool required.
