The Kidde Genesis LED G4SVWA-A is a wall mount mass notification speaker-strobe that combines high-output audio with a 75 cd amber strobe in a single low-profile appliance. Field-selectable 25V/70V operation and four wattage taps (1/4W to 2W) mean one SKU covers the job instead of stocking separate models for different system voltages.

Built for the commercial installer

The G4 series mounts on standard 2-gang and 4-inch square electrical boxes with the GRSW room side wiring plate (ordered separately). Pre-wire the plate, snap the device in, and the wiring is done - no pigtails, no splices in the box. Under-cover test points and a check bar on the wiring plate let you verify speaker and strobe circuits without pulling the device off the wall. UL listed (S218, S5389), FCC Part 15, and FM Approved.

System requirements

Requires a GRSW room side wiring plate (GRSW-10, pack of 10, ordered separately). Compatible with Genesis LED sync sources for multi-appliance synchronization - exceeds UL requirements with strobe timing within 10 ms over a 2-hour period. Mounts to 2-gang or 4-inch square electrical boxes. Accepts 12 to 18 AWG in-out screw terminals.
