The G4SVWA-R is a Genesis LED G4 Series wall-mount speaker-strobe built for mass notification applications on commercial fire alarm systems. It pairs a multi-tap speaker with a field-selectable LED strobe in a single housing that mounts directly to standard 4-inch square electrical boxes - one device, one pull, one back box.

Built for the commercial fire installer

UL 464 and UL 2572 listed for fire alarm and mass notification service. The Genesis plug-in design separates the chassis from the trim plate, so you can rough-in the base and pull wire before the finish trim arrives on-site. Field-selectable candela and multiple speaker wattage taps let one SKU cover a range of spacing and coverage requirements without stocking extra hardware. System requirements

Requires a regulated 24 VDC notification appliance circuit from a compatible Kidde fire alarm control panel (FACP). Mounts to a standard 4-inch square electrical box or optional Genesis surface mount box (sold separately). Wire: #12-18 AWG.

FAQs

Does the G4SVWA-R work for mass notification?
Yes. It is UL 2572 listed for mass notification and UL 464 listed for fire alarm signaling. Select the ALERT or FIRE marking SKU based on your application.
What candela settings are available?
The strobe candela is field-selectable on the device. No need to swap hardware to change coverage - adjust the setting to match the required spacing per NFPA 72. See the spec sheet in the Documents tab for the full candela table.
What speaker taps are available?
The speaker supports selectable wattage taps (1/4W, 1/2W, 1W, 2W) on both 25 VRMS and 70.7 VRMS audio circuits. Tap selection is made at the device.
Does it sync with other Genesis devices?
Yes. It uses the Genesis sync protocol to synchronize strobe flash with other Genesis devices on the same NAC circuit. No external sync module required.
What back box does it mount to?
Standard 4-inch square electrical box. An optional Genesis surface mount box is also available for applications where a flush box isn't practical.
Can I service it without re-wiring?
Yes. The Genesis plug-in design separates the chassis (wired to the back box) from the trim plate (snaps on). Swap the trim without touching wire connections.
