The Kidde G4SVWA-G is a Genesis LED G4 Series wall-mount speaker-strobe built for mass notification systems. It combines a selectable 25V/70V speaker with a green LED strobe and "ALERT" marking in a single compact appliance, covering voice paging and visual alerting from one device on a standard electrical box.
Built for the commercial installer
Speaker voltage (25VRMS or 70VRMS) and wattage (1/4W, 1/2W, 1W, or 2W) are both field-selectable without pulling the device off the wall. Voltage switches under the cover; wattage adjusts via a slide switch visible through the side window. The green LED strobe draws just 28 mA at 16-33 VDC, keeping NAC circuit loading low across large notification zones. Separate speaker and strobe circuit connections allow independent control from the FACP or mass notification system.
Key features
- Combined speaker and strobe in one appliance - one backbox, one set of wire runs, faster installs
- 25V/70V and 1/4-2W field-selectable without removing the device from the plate
- Low-current LED strobe (28 mA VDC) keeps NAC loading manageable on large systems
- Green lens with "ALERT" marking for mass notification applications
- Standard 2-gang or 4-inch square box mounting - no proprietary backbox required
- Separate speaker and strobe circuits for independent system control
System requirements
Requires a GRSW-10 room-side wiring plate (ordered separately). Mounts to any 2-gang or 4-inch square electrical box at least 1-1/2 inches deep. Optional trim plates (G4TR red, G4TW white) and surface mount boxes (EG4RSB red, EG4WSB white) available. Compatible with Kidde CC Series Signal Modules, Booster and Auxiliary Power Supplies, and Intelligent and Conventional Control Panels for strobe synchronization. Wire with 12 to 18 AWG.
