The Genesis LED EG4SVWF is a wall-mount speaker/strobe that delivers voice evacuation audio and visual strobe notification from a single appliance. Selectable candela output (15, 30, 75, or 110 cd) lets you match the notification zone without swapping models. Mounts to standard 1-gang, 2-gang, 3.5-inch octagon, or 4-inch square electrical boxes with the GP10 room-side wiring plate included for pre-wire convenience.

Built for the commercial fire installer

The EG4 Series uses LED strobe technology that draws less current per device than legacy xenon-type strobes, putting more appliances on each NAC circuit and reducing booster power supply requirements. LED and xenon Genesis strobes can share the same synchronized circuit, so you can upgrade jobs incrementally without ripping and replacing. Strobe synchronization meets UL requirements (within 10 ms over a two-hour period) when used with Kidde CC Series Signal Modules, Booster and Auxiliary Power Supplies, or Intelligent and Conventional Control Panels.

Mounting and serviceability

Fits standard 1-gang, 2-gang, 3.5-inch octagon, and 4-inch square electrical boxes (minimum 1-1/2 inch deep). Optional EG4TW white trim plate covers oversized box openings. Under-cover diagnostic test points let you check the circuit without pulling the device off the wall. Accepts 12-18 AWG in-out screw terminals.
