The Genesis LED EG4VRN drops onto existing NAC circuits and draws just 28 mA at any candela setting - strobe-only, red housing, no marking. Field-selectable 15, 30, 75, or 110 cd output adjusts under the cover without pulling the device off the wall. Backward-compatible with legacy Xenon strobes, so retrofits don't require a full swap-out of every device on the loop.
Built for the commercial installer
UL 1971-listed for indoor wall-mount public-mode notification. Ultra-low current consumption means more devices per NAC circuit, smaller wire gauge, longer runs, and fewer booster power supplies compared to Xenon alternatives. Genesis LED synchronization keeps all strobes within NFPA 72 requirements when paired with a compatible Kidde synchronization source.
Key features
- 28 mA at all candela settings (VDC): fewer power supplies, lighter conduit, longer wire runs
- Field-selectable 15/30/75/110 cd output: change the setting under the cover without removing the device from the wall
- Backward-compatible with Xenon strobes: mix LED and Xenon on the same circuit and in the same field of view
- GP10 room side wiring plate included: pre-install, pre-wire, and verify continuity with the diagnostics check bar before snapping the device into place
- Fits standard electrical boxes: 1-gang, 2-gang, 3.5-inch octagon, and 4-inch square boxes at least 1.5 inches deep
- Ultra-slim profile: protrudes about 1.6 inches from the mounting surface with no visible mounting screws
System requirements
Requires a compatible Kidde NAC circuit operating at 16 to 33 VDC or 16 to 33 VFWR. Synchronization sources include Kidde CC Series Signal Modules, Booster and Auxiliary Power Supplies, and Intelligent and Conventional Control Panels. Optional EG4TR (red) or EG4TW (white) trim plates available for oversized openings.
