The Genesis LED EG4VWN is a wall-mount visible notification appliance with field-selectable strobe output from 15 to 110 candela. LED technology cuts current draw significantly below older xenon Genesis strobes, letting you load more devices per NAC circuit without upgrading wire runs or power supplies.
Built for the commercial fire installer
UL 1971 and ULC-S526 listed for visual signaling. Mounts on any standard 4-inch square electrical box with the included GP10 room-side wiring plate - terminate conductors without pulling the device off the wall. The Genesis sync protocol keeps all strobes on the circuit flashing in unison per NFPA 72, no separate sync module required.
Key features
- Field-selectable candela: 15, 30, 75, 95, or 110 cd - set at the device, no ordering separate models per coverage area
- LED technology: lower current draw than xenon equivalents, more devices per NAC circuit
- Built-in synchronization: Genesis sync protocol keeps all devices on the NAC flashing in unison per NFPA 72
- Room-side wiring: GP10 wiring plate included for conductor termination without removing the device
- White housing, no marking: clean appearance for applications where "FIRE" lettering is not required
- Standard mounting: fits any 4-inch square (4-11/16") electrical box or optional Genesis surface mount backbox
Compatibility
Works with Kidde Commercial intelligent and conventional fire alarm control panels. Compatible with any listed NAC power supply or FACP NAC output operating in the 16-33 VDC range. Synchronizes with other Genesis LED devices on the same circuit.
