The Luminys R52-8PA puts 8K NVR capability and eight built-in PoE ports in a single 1U chassis. It handles up to 32MP recording across 8 channels, delivers 256 Mbps of recording bandwidth with AI off (200 Mbps with AI on), and stores footage on two internal SATA drives up to 32TB total. NDAA compliant, FCC certified.

LumiSearch+ turns hours of footage review into a seconds-long task: feed the recorder a reference image and it returns matching targets across all 8 channels by body shape, clothing color, or custom intrusion zone. LumiPower extends PoE delivery up to 3,000 feet, cutting out repeaters and extra power drops on sprawling installs. On-box analytics (iMD, VCA+, Face Recognition) offload compute from cameras -- useful on mixed deployments where not every camera has edge AI. ONVIF and RTSP interoperability let you mix in third-party cameras without a separate NVR.

Cameras connect to the 8 onboard PoE ports (10/100 Mbps per port). Network uplink is a single RJ-45 Gigabit port. Two 3.5" SATA HDDs (up to 16TB each, not included) are required for recording. LumiSearch+ requires LumiSearch+-compatible cameras. Remote access and management via the LumiViewer desktop app or LumiViewer mobile app. LumiCloud Lite is included; LumiCloud Unity subscriptions are sold separately.

Does LumiSearch+ work with any camera?
No. LumiSearch+ requires LumiSearch+-compatible cameras. Standard ONVIF cameras will record and display normally, but target attribute search requires Luminys-compatible cameras with LumiSearch+ capability.
What hard drives does the R52-8PA support?
The R52-8PA has two 3.5" SATA bays, each supporting up to 16TB for a maximum of 32TB total. HDDs are not included. Use surveillance-rated drives (e.g., Seagate SkyHawk, WD Purple) for best reliability.
Can I use third-party ONVIF cameras with the R52-8PA?
