SKU:
LM-LCE-AIT

The LumiCenter AI Tracker Channel (LCE-AIT) unlocks a full suite of AI-driven analytics on existing LumiCenter Plus installations -- no hardware swap required. One license per channel activates MomentQuest forensic search, human/vehicle detection, heat map generation, and queue detection across that camera feed. If you're already running LumiCenter Max, this module is included at no extra cost.

Turn your VMS into a real-time intelligence layer

Installers running LumiCenter Plus can now offer clients forensic search and behavioral analytics without migrating to a new platform. The AI Tracker module runs server-side through LumiCenter, keeping the camera and NVR infrastructure already on the job site. NDAA-compliant per-channel licensing keeps procurement clean on government, education, and other federally-sensitive projects.

Key capabilities

  • MomentQuest Intelligent Forensic Search: AI-powered retrospective analysis -- quickly surface relevant moments in recorded footage without scrubbing through hours of video.
  • Human/vehicle detection: Automated classification triggers alerts on relevant events and filters out environmental noise.
  • Heat map generation: Visual traffic density overlays help clients identify high-activity zones and optimize resource allocation.
  • Queue detection: Alerts on crowded areas or long queues -- useful for retail, transit, and public space deployments.
  • LumiCenter data reports: Structured analytics output supports operational reporting and client-facing documentation.

System requirements

LCE-AIT requires an active LumiCenter Plus channel license (LSC-PLSV) for each camera channel. Cameras must deliver a minimum 640 x 360 resolution at 8 fps or above; optimal performance is at 1280 x 720. Color images are strongly recommended -- black-and-white feeds reduce AI recognition accuracy. Fisheye cameras and heavily masked frames may degrade neural tracker performance. Scene lighting must be at least 100 lux and remain consistent; abrupt changes will reduce analytics reliability.

Does this work with LumiCenter Max?
Included at no extra cost with LumiCenter Max (LSC-MAXV). If you're running LumiCenter Plus (LSC-PLSV), one LCE-AIT license is required per camera channel you want AI analytics on.
How many licenses do I need?
One per camera channel. A matching LumiCenter Plus channel license (LSC-PLSV) must already be active for each camera before the AI Tracker add-on can be applied.
What camera resolution is required?
Minimum 640 x 360 px at 8 fps. Optimal performance is at 1280 x 720. Resolutions above 1920 x 1080 are not recommended -- processing overhead increases without meaningful detection improvement.
Do fisheye cameras work with AI Tracker?
Neural trackers may not operate correctly with fisheye cameras. Standard rectilinear lenses are recommended for best AI Tracker performance.
Is LCE-AIT NDAA compliant?
Yes. NDAA Section 889 compliant, making it eligible for government, education, and other federally-sensitive projects.
What happens if scene lighting is poor or changes abruptly?
The module requires a minimum of 100 lux. Abrupt lighting changes -- such as lights switching on or off during recording -- will disrupt analytics accuracy. Stable, consistent scene lighting is required for reliable operation.
