System requirements

LCE-LPRS requires LumiCenter Plus (LSC-PLSV) or LumiCenter Max (LSC-MAXV), plus a separate LumiCenter video license for each camera channel. The host server must run Windows 10 or higher with .NET Framework 4.5.2 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x64). Plan for 500 MB of RAM per camera channel and an Intel i7 or i9 processor (3.0+ GHz, AVX2 support).

What is the difference between LCE-LPRS and LCE-LPR?
LCE-LPRS enables archive plate search only. LCE-LPR is the full channel — adds real-time recognition, notification alerts, gate/macro triggers, and positive/negative list enforcement. Need live alerting or gate control? Order LCE-LPR instead.
Does this require additional licenses per camera?
Yes. Each camera channel requires both a LumiCenter video license (LSC-PLSV for Plus or LSC-MAXV for Max) and this LCE-LPRS add-on. Both must be present for archive plate search to function on that channel.
What cameras work with LCE-LPRS?
Works with virtually any IP camera brand. Min specs: 640x360 resolution (1280x720 recommended), 15 fps minimum (25-30 fps recommended), auto-focus/zoom recommended, 50 lux minimum lighting.
What are the camera positioning requirements for accurate reads?
Mount 4-6m above ground, max 15 degrees horizontal tilt from road. Optimal distance: 15-20m (low-speed), 20-30m (higher-speed). Plate must fill 15-70% of frame; character height 20-30 pixels.
Is LCE-LPRS NDAA compliant?
