The DS106P is an unmanaged 6-port 10/100 Mbps desktop switch with four PoE+ ports, the low-cost way to power a few IP cameras, an AP or phones where Gigabit speed is not needed. Plug it in and it works: no software and no fan noise.

Built for small, budget camera and phone jobs

Ports 1 to 4 deliver 802.3af/at PoE+ at up to 30 W each from a 67 W shared budget, and ports 5 and 6 carry data only. Extend mode pushes PoE and data out to 250 m with the link dropping to 10 Mbps, priority mode protects ports 1 and 2, and PoE auto recovery restarts a powered device that stops responding.

FAQs

How many ports on the DS106P have PoE?
Four. Ports 1 to 4 are 802.3af/at PoE+ up to 30 W each, sharing a 67 W budget. Ports 5 and 6 are data only.
Is the DS106P Gigabit?
No. All six ports are 10/100 Mbps. Choose a Gigabit model if the uplink or devices need more than 100 Mbps.
Can it reach a camera more than 100 m away?
Yes. Extend mode carries PoE and data up to 250 m, and the port speed drops to 10 Mbps.
What does priority mode do?
It gives ports 1 and 2 high priority so sensitive traffic, such as a camera stream, is protected on the switch.
Does this switch need to be configured?
No. It is unmanaged and works out of the box. There is no web interface or VLAN support.
