The Kidde Genesis LED EGCSVRF is a ceiling-mount speaker-strobe that combines audible and visual notification in a single low-profile device. Field-selectable candela (15, 30, 75, or 115 cd) and dual-voltage speaker taps (25V or 70V) let you configure it to the job without swapping hardware - one SKU covers a range of commercial applications from corridors to open floor plans.
Built for the commercial fire installer
The EGCS Series mounts to standard 2-gang or 4-inch square electrical boxes with no special hardware. The included room-side wiring plate (GRSW) lets you terminate wiring from the finished side of the ceiling - no attic access required for trim-out. High-efficiency LED strobes draw less current than incandescent equivalents, supporting more devices per NAC circuit. UL 1638, UL 1480, ULC-S541, and ULC-S526 listed. ADA and NFPA 72 compliant.
