The Kidde Genesis LED EGCVRF drops a field-selectable multi-candela ceiling strobe onto commercial fire alarm NAC circuits without blowing the power budget. LED technology draws significantly less current than legacy xenon strobes at every candela setting, so you fit more appliances per circuit and spend less time recalculating wire runs.

Built for the fire alarm installer

Six candela settings (15, 30, 60, 75, 95, 115 cd) are selectable at the device - one SKU covers multiple room sizes and ADA spacing tables without stocking separate models. Red housing with FIRE marking meets UL 1971 and ULC-S526 listing requirements for commercial occupancies. The room-side wiring plate is included, so terminations happen from below the ceiling without pulling the device off the box.

System requirements

Mounts to a standard 4" square electrical box, 4" octagon box, or 3-1/2" round box. Connects to notification appliance circuits on any compatible fire alarm control panel (FACP). Use with Genesis synchronization modules for code-compliant synchronized strobe flash across the notification zone.
