The Kidde Genesis LED EG1F-C is a compact wall mount chime for commercial fire alarm notification circuits. Part of the Genesis LED EG1 Series, it delivers a clear chime tone from a low-profile housing that protrudes barely an inch from the wall - clean installs with no visible mounting screws.

Built for the commercial installer

The EG1F-C runs on standard 16 to 33 VDC or VFWR NAC circuits and mounts to any standard single-gang electrical box. No special hardware, no trim ring required on standard boxes. An optional EG1TW trim ring covers oversized openings on 4-inch square and octagon boxes. UL listed and CSFM approved for commercial fire alarm applications.

Does this fit a standard electrical box?

Yes. The EG1F-C mounts to any standard 1-gang surface or flush electrical box. For oversized openings on 4-inch square or octagon boxes, use the optional EG1TW trim ring (white).

What is the operating voltage range?

16 to 33 VDC or 16 to 33 VFWR. Compatible with standard 24 VDC NAC circuits from Kidde Intelligent and Conventional Control Panels.

Can the FIRE marking be changed?

Yes. The Genesis LED EG1 Series uses quick-swap covers. Purchase a replacement cover (white, no marking or ALERT) to change the device marking without replacing the appliance.

What wire gauge does this accept?

12 to 18 AWG. In-out screw terminals for quick, clean wiring connections.

What Kidde panels is this compatible with?

Does this require a trim ring?
