The Genesis LED EG1AWF is a compact wall-mount horn that delivers reliable alarm notification in commercial fire alarm systems while drawing less current than conventional signals. Low current draw means more devices on a single NAC circuit, fewer power supplies, and less time sizing the loop.

Built for the commercial installer

The EG1 mounts directly to standard electrical boxes (1-gang, 2-gang, 4-inch octagon, or 4-inch square) or surface-mounts to the wall. Field-selectable settings let you configure high or low dB output and constant or T3 temporal tone without swapping hardware. White housing with red FIRE marking. ADA compliant, UL listed.

How many Genesis EG1 horns can I put on a single NAC circuit?
Low current draw (as low as 13 mA at 24 VDC on the low setting) allows significantly more notification devices per NAC than conventional horns. Calculate your total loop current against your FACP's NAC output capacity.
Can I select high or low dB output in the field?
Yes. The EG1AWF has a field-selectable switch for high (85 dBA reverberant) or low (80 dBA reverberant) output. No hardware swap needed.
What tone patterns does this horn support?
Constant and T3 temporal, field-selectable. T3 temporal is the standard fire evacuation pattern (three pulses, pause, repeat).
What electrical boxes does this mount to?
Standard 1-gang, 2-gang, 4-inch octagon, and 4-inch square boxes. Can also surface-mount directly to the wall.
Is this horn rated for outdoor use?
No. The EG1 series is rated for indoor use only. Operating range is 32-122°F (0-50°C), 0-93% noncondensing humidity.
