The Kidde KI-DDOS is a photoelectric duct smoke detector built for commercial HVAC systems. It connects to Kidde Intelligent fire alarm control panels over the SLC loop, drawing power directly from the loop with no additional power supply required. Environmental compensation with differential sensing cuts nuisance alarms from dust and humidity without sacrificing detection speed.
