The Kidde 6831-2 is a K-270 Series non-coded, single action fire alarm pull station with a non-break glass element. Same station as the 6831-1, but uses a non-break glass rod instead of traditional breakable glass - no shattered glass to clean up after activation, no replacement rods to stock. Solid die-cast metal construction and less than 5 lbs of pull force keep it ADA-compliant out of the box.
Built for the commercial fire installer
Flush trim design fits a standard 4-inch North American square box with a single gang plaster cover (minimum depth 2-1/4"). Surface mounting is also supported via steel box (P-039250) or cast box (P-027193) for weatherproof enclosure applications. UL listed (S2318) and ULC listed (7150-1657:0111) for code-compliant installations across the US and Canada.
