The Genesis GCWA-VMC is a ceiling-mount fire alarm strobe that delivers selectable candela output (15, 30, 75, or 95 cd) from a low-profile housing that sits just 0.60" off the ceiling. White housing with red "ALERT" lettering and a clear lens make it the right pick for mass notification and emergency communication system (ECS/MNS) applications where code requires ALERT-marked appliances.
Built for the commercial installer
Mounts directly to a standard 4" square electrical box (2-1/8" deep minimum). Runs on 16-33 Vdc or full-wave rectified voltage from existing NAC circuits, so there's no dedicated power supply to spec. Field-selectable candela settings (positions A, B, C, D) let you match the output to room size and code requirements without stocking multiple part numbers. UL 1971, UL 1638, ULC S526, ULC S524, ADA, CSFM, and MEA listed.
