Instead of losing the entire loop, the module isolates the fault between the two nearest isolator modules, keeping every device outside that segment online and reporting. Drop the FX-ISO into any standard 4-inch square electrical box on the SLC loop. One device address per module, set via the familiar rotary switches on the front. The module monitors line voltages continuously and opens the SLC automatically when a short is detected - no panel programming needed to enable isolation. Ground fault detection pinpoints wiring problems down to the specific module location, cutting troubleshooting time on Class A (Style 7) circuits.
