The Kidde KI-OSCD is an intelligent addressable detector that combines optical (photoelectric) smoke sensing with carbon monoxide detection in a single head, giving one SLC address coverage for both fire and life-safety CO conditions. Dual optical wavelengths and multi-angle particle detection help the on-board microprocessor tell nuisance particulates from real smoke, cutting unwanted alarms.
