The Kidde Genesis WG4 outdoor horn-strobe delivers audible and visual fire notification in a single NEMA 4X / IP56-rated wall-mount appliance. Built for exterior and harsh-environment installations where weather exposure is a given, the WG4 runs on standard 24 VDC or VFWR NAC circuits and synchronizes with Genesis-compatible panels and modules without additional hardware.

Built for the commercial installer

NEMA 4X and IP56 ratings handle rain, ice, dust, and temperature extremes from -40°F to 151°F without a separate enclosure. It mounts to standard outdoor-rated electrical boxes (Model 449 or 74347U) or indoor 4-inch square boxes, and accepts 12-18 AWG field wiring. UL 464, UL 1638, and UL 1971 listed for U.S. installations. ULC-S525, ULC-S526, and ULC-S541 listed for Canadian installations.

System requirements

Operates on regulated 24 VDC or 24 VFWR NAC circuits. Compatible with Genesis synchronization from VS Series, VM Series, and FX Series control panels, or through external sync modules (GSA-CC1S, SIGA-CC2A, GSA-MCC1S, GSA-MCC2A) and Genesis Signal Master (EG1M-RM). Wire with 12-18 AWG conductors.
