The Kidde Genesis LED EWG speaker-strobe mounts outdoors on commercial fire alarm NAC circuits and delivers both voice evacuation and visible notification from one appliance. Rated UL 1638 for outdoor and wet locations, it handles parking garages, loading docks, covered walkways, and other harsh environments where weather and temperature swings are the norm.
Built for the commercial fire installer
The EWG series is the LED evolution of the Genesis WG4 outdoor platform. Dual-voltage speaker (25V or 70V, field-selectable) with four power taps (1/4W, 1/2W, 1W, 2W) covers a wide range of signaling zones without swapping hardware. Strobe candela is field-selectable across four settings, and all configuration switches remain visible through a sealed viewport after cover installation. Mounts to standard 4" square electrical boxes or the Kidde 74347U outdoor surface-mount box. A full backplane gasket seals the unit for wet-location duty.
