The G4SVWN-B is a Genesis LED G4 wall-mount speaker-strobe built for mass notification systems in commercial buildings. It pairs a high-fidelity speaker (STI .81) with a blue LED strobe in a low-profile housing that protrudes just 1.62 inches from the wall - keeping hallways and corridors clean while delivering the audio clarity and visual output installers need on NAC circuits.

Built for the commercial installer

The Genesis G4 mounts to standard two-gang or 4-inch square electrical boxes using the GRSW room-side wiring plate, so there's no special hardware to source. Pre-wire the plate, verify continuity with the built-in diagnostics check bar, and snap the device into place. Field-selectable 25V/70V speaker voltage and four wattage taps (1/4W through 2W) mean one SKU covers a range of coverage requirements without swapping hardware. Voltage and wattage settings stay visible through side inspection windows after the cover is closed.

LED strobe technology draws a fraction of the current of legacy Xenon devices, allowing longer circuit runs and more devices per NAC. Genesis LED strobes are backward compatible with Xenon - you can mix them on the same circuit and in the same field of view for phased upgrades without ripping out existing devices.

Yes. The G4 is 520Hz capable and meets NFPA requirements for sleeping areas in hotels, dormitories, and residential occupancies when paired with approved audio hardware and a factory 520Hz tone.
Can I mix this LED strobe with existing Xenon strobes on the same NAC?
Yes. Genesis LED mass notification strobes are backward compatible with legacy Xenon strobes. They can be mixed on the same circuit and in the same field of view, making phased upgrades practical without replacing every device at once.
What electrical boxes does the G4 speaker-strobe mount to?
Standard two-gang and 4-inch square electrical boxes with a minimum depth of 1-1/2 inches. Optional trim plates (EG4TR red, EG4TW white) cover oversized openings. Color-matched surface mount boxes (EG4RSB red, EG4WSB white) are also available.
What synchronization sources work with Genesis LED G4 devices?
Kidde CC Series Signal Modules, Booster and Auxiliary Power Supplies, and Intelligent and Conventional Control Panels. Maximum 20 ohms resistance between any two devices on the synchronized circuit.
How do I change the wattage or voltage settings in the field?
Remove the cover (no need to unmount the device). Speaker voltage (25V/70V) and wattage (1/4W, 1/2W, 1W, 2W) are set via switches under the cover. Current wattage stays visible through side windows after the cover is replaced.
