The Kidde Genesis LED G4SE Strobe Expander adds a second, independently controlled strobe behind any Genesis LED EG4S speaker-strobe or EG4 horn-strobe - no extra box, no extra wall space. One compact assembly handles both life safety and mass notification signaling, cutting install time and wall clutter on dual-purpose notification jobs.
Built for the commercial fire installer
UL Listed and compatible with legacy Genesis appliances on the same circuit, the G4SE drops into existing NAC loops without rewiring. Ultra-low current draw (28 mA DC, 36 mA FWR) maximizes the number of devices per circuit. Meets UL synchronization requirements within 10 ms over a two-hour period when paired with Kidde CC Series signal modules or compatible control panels. The 20 ms pulse width allows line-of-sight mixing with xenon Genesis strobes already in the field.
Key features
- Two independent strobes plus a speaker or horn in a single compact wall-mount assembly
- Ultra-low current draw (28 mA DC / 36 mA FWR) - maximize devices per NAC circuit
- No extension ring or trim plate needed - fits standard 4-inch square electrical boxes
- Field-visible settings remain accessible after installation
- 100% backward-compatible with legacy Genesis appliances on the same circuit
- Amber lens, 75 cd output for mass notification and emergency communication (MNEC) applications
System requirements
Mounts to a standard North American 4-inch square box (minimum 1-1/2" deep) at 83" AFF for correct strobe height. Requires a Genesis LED EG4S Series speaker-strobe or EG4 Series horn-strobe to complete the assembly. Synchronization via Kidde CC Series Signal Modules, Booster/Auxiliary Power Supplies, or compatible Intelligent and Conventional Control Panels.
