The Genesis LED G4SE Strobe Expander adds both Mass Notification/Emergency Communication (MNEC) and life safety strobe capability behind a single Genesis LED appliance - no extra wall space, no extra boxes. It fits directly behind any Genesis LED EG4S Series speaker or speaker-strobe, or Genesis LED EG4 Series horn, strobe, or horn-strobe, packing two independent strobes and a loudspeaker or horn into one compact footprint.
Built for the commercial installer
This model (G4SEWA-B) features a white housing with ALERT marking and a blue lens rated at 30 cd. UL Listed (S5389) and FCC certified. Ultra-low current draw (28 mA at 16-33 VDC) lets you maximize the number of devices on a single NAC circuit without adding booster power supplies. The G4SE meets UL synchronization requirements within 10 milliseconds and uses a 20ms pulse width, so it runs on the same loop and in the same line of sight as legacy xenon Genesis strobes without compatibility issues.
Key features
- Two independent strobes plus speaker/horn in one footprint: reduces box count and wall clutter on dual-purpose fire alarm and mass notification jobs
- Ultra-low current draw (28 mA DC): fit more devices per NAC circuit without adding booster power supplies
- 100% backward compatible with legacy Genesis appliances on the same circuit
- Field-visible settings: output and lens color configurations remain visible through the bottom window after installation
- No extension ring or trim plate needed: fits standard North-American 4" square electrical boxes flush
- UL synchronization compliant with Kidde CC Series Signal Modules, Booster and Auxiliary Power Supplies, and Intelligent and Conventional Control Panels
System requirements
Mounts flush on a North-American 4" square box at least 1 " deep. Indoor wall-mount applications only. Install the electrical box at 83" AFF to position the strobe at the correct height per ADA and NFPA requirements. Compatible with 12 to 18 AWG wiring.
