The Genesis LED G4SE Strobe Expander adds visual notification to any Genesis speaker, horn, or chime without replacing the appliance. Mount it behind the existing device on a standard 4-inch square box, wire it into the NAC circuit, and the job is done - no separate strobe run, no extra box, no re-pulling wire.

Built for the commercial fire and mass notification installer

The G4SE uses LED technology for longer service life and lower current draw than incandescent strobes. This model ships in a white housing with red lens and ALERT marking, suited for mass notification applications. Field-selectable candela output via onboard DIP switches lets you set the right intensity for the space without swapping hardware. Synchronizable with Kidde CC Series signal modules, booster and auxiliary power supplies, and intelligent and conventional fire alarm control panels.

Requires a North-American 4-inch square electrical box at least 1-1/2 inches deep. Operates on 16-33 VDC or 16-33 VFWR from the fire alarm control panel NAC circuit. Wire with 12-18 AWG conductors. Maximum 20 ohms wire resistance between any two synchronized devices.

What electrical box does the G4SE require?
A North-American 4-inch square electrical box at least 1-1/2 inches (38 mm) deep. Flush wall mount only - the G4SE is not rated for ceiling or surface-mount applications.
Can I synchronize multiple G4SE strobes on the same circuit?
Yes. The G4SE synchronizes with Kidde CC Series Signal Modules, Booster and Auxiliary Power Supplies, and Intelligent and Conventional Control Panels. Maximum 20 ohms wire resistance between any two synchronized devices on the NAC circuit.
What is the candela output of the red lens model?
15 cd with the red lens. Candela output is field-selectable via onboard DIP switches. Other lens colors (amber, green, blue) are available in separate SKUs with higher candela ratings.
Is the G4SE rated for outdoor or wet locations?
