The Kidde Genesis LED G4SE Strobe Expander fits behind any Genesis LED EG4 or EG4S series notification appliance, adding an independently controlled strobe in a single compact footprint. No additional electrical boxes, no extension rings, no extra wall space - just one clean assembly housing a speaker or horn plus two independent strobes for combined life safety and mass notification coverage.

Built for the commercial fire installer

The G4SEWA-G provides a green ALERT-marked strobe rated at 65 cd, built for mass notification and emergency communication (MNEC) applications. Operating on 16-33 VDC or VFWR with ultra-low current draw (28 mA DC / 36 mA VFWR), it maximizes the number of devices per NAC circuit. UL Listed (S5389) and 100% compatible with legacy Genesis appliances on the same circuit, so it drops into existing systems without sync issues.

System requirements

Requires a Genesis LED EG4 Series horn, strobe, or horn-strobe, or a Genesis LED EG4S Series speaker or speaker-strobe to mount in front of. Wall-mount only on a flush North-American 4-inch square electrical box at least 1-1/2" deep. Recommended mounting height: 83" AFF for correct strobe coverage.
