The Genesis LED G4SE Strobe Expander adds an independent colored strobe behind any Genesis LED EG4S speaker, speaker-strobe, or EG4 horn, strobe, or horn-strobe - no second box on the wall. One compact assembly handles life safety and mass notification signaling from a single mounting point, cutting install time and wall clutter on every job.

Built for fire and mass notification installs

This G4SEWN-G variant pairs a green lens with a white housing and no marking, serving mass notification and emergency communication (MNEC) applications where color-coded visual signals are required. UL 1971 and ULC-S526 listed. 100% backward compatible with legacy Genesis appliances on the same circuit, and the 20ms LED pulse width lets you mix LED and xenon Genesis strobes on one loop without sync issues.

Yes. Genesis LED G4SE Strobe Expanders are fully compatible with legacy Genesis appliances on the same NAC circuit. The 20ms LED pulse width also allows mixing with xenon Genesis strobes on one loop without sync issues.
What Genesis devices does the G4SE mount behind?
The G4SE fits behind Genesis LED EG4S Series speakers and speaker-strobes, and Genesis LED EG4 Series horns, strobes, and horn-strobes. It does not mount behind EG1 Series compact devices or EGC/EGCS ceiling mount devices.
Does it need a special backbox?
No. The G4SE mounts flush on any standard North-American 4" square electrical box at least 1-1/2" deep. No extension ring or trim plate required.
How many G4SE strobe expanders can I load on one NAC circuit?
The G4SE draws just 28 mA (VDC) or 36 mA (VFWR) - well below conventional strobes. Check your panel or power supply specs for maximum circuit loading, but expect significantly more devices per loop than legacy strobes.
What does the green lens signify?
Green strobes are specified for mass notification/emergency communication (MNEC) applications where color-coded signaling differentiates alert types. Consult your Authority Having Jurisdiction for local color-code requirements.
Can I field-adjust the candela output?
The G4SEWN-G outputs a fixed 65 cd with the green lens. Candela output varies by lens color across the G4SE family. Settings remain visible through the lens window after installation.
