The Genesis LED G4VWN-A is a mass notification wall-mount strobe built for commercial life safety systems that need clear, color-coded visual alerts without audio. Amber lens on a white housing with no marking - ready for mass notification schemes where color conveys the event type, not a printed label.
Built for the commercial installer
High-performance LED technology draws just 28 mA at 75 cd output, which translates directly to more devices per NAC circuit and fewer booster power supplies on the job. The Genesis LED control protocol keeps strobes synchronized within NFPA 72 requirements when paired with a compatible Kidde sync source. Backwards compatible with legacy Xenon strobes, so you can mix LED and Xenon on the same circuit during retrofits without replacing every device on the loop. UL listed and FM Approved.
Key features
- Ultra-low current draw (28 mA DC): more devices per circuit, fewer power supplies, smaller wire gauge on long runs
- 75 cd amber output for mass notification color-coding schemes
- Backwards compatible with legacy Xenon strobes - mix on the same circuit and field of view for phased retrofits
- Universal GRSW room side wiring plate: pre-install and pre-wire the plate, snap the device on when ready
- Mounts to standard 2-gang and 4-inch square boxes (at least 1-1/2 in. deep) - no special hardware
- Low profile (1.62" depth) with no visible mounting screws for a clean finished look
System requirements
Requires a GRSW room side wiring plate (ordered separately as GRSW-10, pack of 10). Connects to any compatible Kidde NAC circuit operating 16-33 VDC or 16-33 VFWR. Synchronization requires a Kidde CC Series Signal Module, Booster/Auxiliary Power Supply, or Intelligent/Conventional Control Panel as the sync source. Wire size 12-18 AWG.
