The Kidde Genesis LED G4VWN-G is a wall-mount mass notification strobe with a green lens, purpose-built for commercial life safety systems that need visible-only signaling beyond standard fire alarm. Green lens notification devices serve mass notification, emergency communication, and building automation applications where color-coded strobes distinguish alert types at a glance.

Built for the commercial installer

The G4 mounts on standard 2-gang or 4-inch square electrical boxes using the GRSW mounting plate (ordered separately). Wire terminations accept 12-18 AWG, and the operating voltage range of 16-33 VDC or 16-33 VFWR gives flexibility across panel types. Built-in synchronization works with Kidde CC Series signal modules, booster and auxiliary power supplies, and both intelligent and conventional fire alarm control panels.

The G4VWN-G mounts on standard 2-gang or 4-inch square electrical boxes. The GRSW mounting plate is required and ordered separately.

Yes. Built-in synchronization works with Kidde CC Series signal modules, booster and auxiliary power supplies, and both intelligent and conventional fire alarm control panels. Maximum 20 ohms wire resistance between synchronized devices.
What is the operating voltage range?
16-33 VDC or 16-33 VFWR. This covers the standard NAC output range from most commercial fire alarm control panels.
