The Luminys SUL-10MLA puts eight PoE++ ports and LumiPower long-range transmission in a compact, DIN-rail-mountable hardened switch built for demanding security deployments. Run cameras, intercoms, and access control devices from a single enclosure -- up to 3,000 feet from the switch on LumiPower-capable ports -- without repeaters or additional power injectors.
Built for demanding security installations
The SUL-10MLA is rated for -30°C to 65°C (-22°F to 149°F), making it suitable for outdoor cabinets, utility rooms, and industrial environments that would kill a commercial switch. Fanless convection cooling, metal enclosure, surge protection on power and telecom ports, and dual redundant power inputs give it a rated MTBF of 91 years. NDAA Section 889 compliant.
Key capabilities
- LumiPower long-range PoE: extends power and data up to 3,000 feet over a single Ethernet cable -- no repeaters needed
- High-wattage ports 1-2: up to 90W each (PoE++, IEEE802.3bt) for PTZ cameras, high-draw intercoms, and heavy-load devices
- 8x 10/100 PoE ports: IEEE802.3af/at/bt supported across all ports; ports 3-8 deliver up to 30W each
- Dual gigabit uplinks: one 10/100/1000 RJ-45 and one 100/1000 SFP for fiber or copper connection back to the head-end
- DIN-rail and desktop mounting: drops into existing control panel enclosures or sits on a shelf
- Fanless metal enclosure: no moving parts to fail; convection-cooled for silent, maintenance-free operation
System requirements
Requires the included 54 VDC external power supply. Connect the RJ-45 uplink to existing network infrastructure or use the SFP port with a compatible SMF or MMF fiber module for longer backbone runs. No management software required -- plug-and-play out of the box.
